Two Weeks, One Country: Namibia

Back in the RSA

Well, this is what I've been up to since I got back: I sat around on my sisters, friend's and cousin's (THREE different people!) new couch in the shade of Table Mountain in Cape Town one block from the presidents house for 6 weeks after coming back. I have an excuse though, I was down there for 3 weddings. And I went mountain biking, trail running, rock-climbing (with 2 more of my unemployed friends) and learnt to slope-soar model gliders.
Did I mention my cousin is a brewmaster (or brewmistress) and gets us all types of free beer every month?

Yes, it took me more than 5 weeks to get bored doing this. Then I phoned a friend, got an interesting job, flew up to Johannesburg, and started working the next morning.

So now I'm doing contract work for a 4 person telecommunications company that plans to topple our monopolistic telecommunications para-statial, Telkom, sometime soon. Like tomorrow. Maybe.
